Job description
We are seeking experienced Contracts Managers to oversee and manage multiple construction projects in Zimbabwe.
The successful candidates will be responsible for the full project lifecycle, ensuring that contracts are executed efficiently, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion
- Administer and manage contracts in accordance with project requirements
- Monitor project budgets, cost control, and financial performance
- Manage project teams including Site Agents, Engineers, and Foremen
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
- Manage procurement processes and subcontractor agreements
- Identify and mitigate project risks and contractual issues
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
- Prepare and present project reports and progress updates
Requirements:
- B.Sc. Construction Management, or related
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience in construction project management
- Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of contracts, cost control, and project delivery
- Experience in commercial, residential, or industrial construction
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Candy / CCS / MS Project advantageous)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work in ZImbabwe and travel between project sites
