Job description

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee roads and earthworks projects in Eswatini.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing contracts, project delivery, and commercial performance, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee roads and earthworks projects from inception to completion
  • Administer and manage contracts in line with project requirements
  • Monitor project budgets, cost control, and financial performance
  • Lead and manage site teams including Site Agents, Engineers, and Foremen
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
  • Oversee procurement processes and subcontractor management
  • Identify and mitigate project and contractual risks
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations
  • Prepare and present project reports and progress updates

 

Requirements:

  • B. Sc. / B. Eng. / B. Tech. in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related
  • Minimum 8–10+ years’ experience in roads and earthworks projects
  • Proven experience in contracts management within civil construction
  • Strong understanding of cost control, contract administration, and project delivery
  • Experience managing large-scale infrastructure projects
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Candy / CCS / MS Project advantageous)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in Eswatini and manage multiple site teams
