Job description

A well-established property investment and asset management organisation is seeking to appoint a Property Analyst to support its investment, asset management, and portfolio optimisation functions.

The organisation is focused on acquiring, developing, and actively managing income-generating real estate assets, with a strong emphasis on value creation through disciplined investment analysis, asset performance enhancement, and data-driven decision-making. The portfolio includes a range of commercial and mixed-use properties, requiring continuous financial assessment and strategic insight to support growth and performance objectives.

This is a highly analytical role that will play a key part in supporting investment decisions, underwriting opportunities, and monitoring portfolio performance across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

Property & Investment Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed financial and performance analysis across property assets and portfolios
  • Support investment decisions through feasibility studies and underwriting models
  • Analyse rental income, yields, vacancies, and operating performance
  • Evaluate acquisition, disposal, and repositioning opportunities

Financial Modelling & Reporting:

  • Build and maintain detailed property financial models
  • Perform IRR, yield, ROI, and scenario analysis
  • Support investment reporting and performance tracking for management
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting across the portfolio

Market & Portfolio Research:

  • Conduct market research and sector benchmarking
  • Analyse rental trends, vacancy movements, and market dynamics
  • Provide insights on asset performance and value enhancement opportunities
  • Monitor competitor and market activity

Asset Management Support:

  • Support asset managers with analytical insights and recommendations
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for rental growth and cost optimisation
  • Contribute to strategic planning and portfolio optimisation initiatives

Minimum Requirements:

  • 3–6 years’ experience in property analysis, investment analysis, or financial analysis
  • Strong financial modelling capability (advanced Excel essential)
  • Experience within property investment, real estate, or private equity environments
  • Strong understanding of property metrics including yield, IRR, NOI, and vacancy analysis
  • Relevant degree in Finance, Property Studies, Economics, or related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, investment-driven environment
  • Strong communication skills with ability to present insights clearly
