Job description
A growing civil engineering and project management consultancy within the built environment is seeking a driven Project Manager to join their team. The company delivers a range of infrastructure projects, providing end-to-end support from planning through to execution, with a strong focus on quality, compliance, and efficient delivery.
The Project Manager will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and successful delivery of civil engineering projects across multiple sites. This includes managing project scope, schedules, stakeholders, and ensuring that all deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and in line with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define project scope with stakeholders and engineers
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and implementation
- Manage reporting, administration, and project documentation
- Monitor progress and implement corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulations
- Support contract and subcontractor management
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in civil engineering projects
- Strong understanding of project delivery and lifecycle
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- PMBOK / PRINCE2 advantageous
